Country Investment  

1. Govt. Of Canada is investing $2M for 260 new EV chargers in Alberta. They will be installed in public places, on streets, and at recreation centers. 
2. Ontario is investing $91M to install EV charging stations at highway rest stops, carpool parking lots, parks and hockey arenas. 

Companies invested 

1. Indigenous Clean Energy, a not-for-profit organization, is going to install 25 EV charging stations throughout the country! They have got $316,250 of funding from NRCan. 
2. Windsor is getting a $4.9B investment for an EV battery plant, making the city a major player in the auto industry. 
3. General Motors and Posco Chemical are working with Govts. of Canada & Quebec to build a $400 million EV battery component facility in Bécancour. 
4. SaskPower is investing $2M to build about 20 Level 3 EVSE along major Saskatchewan corridors, including Highway 11 and 16.
